At ELSS we take the issue of bullying very seriously. Bullying is a very complex problem with many layers. Dealing with the problem cannot be just a single strategy but rather a range of strategies.
One way we are dealing with bullying is to educate children on how to deal with conflict or bullies. We have adopted our ‘Talk, Walk, Report’ response which empowers students to firstly Talk to the person who they are in conflict with, Walk away and if this doesn’t work, then Report to an adult here at school.
